The state House on Thursday agreed to let voters decide in the next statewide election on restricting the ability of government to take land using its power of eminent domain.
Their approval of eminent domain was the primary reason York County Commissioners Doug Kilgore and Lori Mitrick were fired by voters on Tuesday, analysts said, though other variables were probably also at play.
